Finisher®, nutrition and energy renews its agreement with Itzulia Basque Country as Main Sponsor

Kern Pharma’s health and sports nutrition brand has renewed its commitment to Itzulia as is once again the official sponsor of the race and the Combativity Award.

The Itzulia will once again count on Finisher®, Kern Pharma’s renowned brand of health and sports nutrition products as the main sponsor and nutritional supplement for the event. Over the 6 days of the race, from 3 to 8 April, the best cyclists in the international peloton can stock up on nutritional products to help them overcome the challenges posed by this year’s race.

As in the two previous editions, Finisher® will present the prize for combativity each day on the podium. The Finisher® award for combativity recognises values such as effort and dedication during each stage.

Julian Eraso, president of OCETA, commented that “Finisher® has supported Itzulia for several years and has become an indispensable partner. This year, when we presented them with the challenge of covering the Itzulia Basque Challenge bicycle touring race with their products, they didn’t hesitate. Their commitment to Itzulia, cycling and cyclists is clear”.

On behalf of Kern Pharma, Cesc de Bode, Manager of the Health and Sports Unit at the pharmaceutical company, emphasised that “Cycling is one of the disciplines where Finisher® has a strong presence thanks to its range of energy bars, gels and food supplements. Kern Pharma has also promoted its eponymous Kern Pharma ProTeam since 2020, which will be one of the 23 entrants on the starting line of the Itzulia time trial in Vitoria-Gasteiz on 4 April.

Finisher® also at Itzulia Basque Challenge

A wide range of Finsiher® products will be available to participants at the refreshment points along the route. The aim is for every participant to enjoy every kilometre to the finish line, a task made easier if they are well-fed and hydrated with high-quality products. Participants will have the opportunity to replenish just like the professionals in Itzulia.
