Traffic restrictions on the climb to Elorritxueta during Stage 4 of the Itzulia

This measure will apply to the Galdakao–Galdakao stage after the finish line has been crossed for the first time, in line with the GIS guidelines provided by the Basque Forestry Service.

The organisers of the Itzulia have announced that during Stage 4 of the race, which starts and finishes in Galdakao, traffic restrictions will be in place at various points along the route for safety reasons.

More specifically, all vehicles will be prohibited from driving on the first climb up to Elorritxueta, which is just after the finish line has been crossed for the first time in Galdakao. This measure will apply to all unauthorised vehicles while the race passes through this section of the route.

The final section of the climb to Legina will also be closed to traffic, to ensure the safety of the riders, organisers and spectators.

These restrictions will be implemented for safety reasons, following the GIS guidelines provided by the Bizkaia Forestry Service, the body responsible for managing and protecting these areas.

The organisers are asking for the cooperation of cycling fans and anyone coming to watch the stage at these points along the route, to make sure that they comply with all signs, follow the instructions of security staff, and stay within the designated public viewing areas at all times.
