More than 440,000 viewers tuned in to ETB1 to watch the 2026 Itzulia Basque Country, which achieved its highest audience share since 2007

The broadcast of the cycling race averaged a 9.6% share. The final stage stood out with a 10.9% share and over 200,000 viewers in cumulative viewership. 

In addition, more than 77,000 people followed the Itzulia Basque Country via the ETB ON platform 

Another edition of our most international cycling event has come to a close, with great success on EITB. In fact, the live broadcast of the 2026 Itzulia Basque Country on ETB1 achieved its highest share in the last nineteen years, averaging 9.6% (16.6% among Basque speakers). Over the course of these six days, the live broadcast on ETB1 achieved a cumulative audience of 444,000 viewers in the Basque Country and its surrounding area. The figures for the last two stages were particularly noteworthy, with an 11.5% share for the Eibar-Eibar stage (18.6% among Basque speakers) and a 10.9% share for the Antzuola-Bergara stage (exceeding 20% among Basque speakers). More than 200,000 viewers tuned in to ETB1 to watch the final stage and the podium ceremony.

In addition, 77,400 people watched this edition of the Itzulia on the ETB ON platform.
