The Palace of the Isasi, better known by the name of Markeskoa Palace, is a Modern Age building, and, by its construction and its history, it is one of the most important of the dozen palaces and tower-houses which had Eibar. Today the building is completely restored and it is the headquarters of the Basque summer university (UEU).
The Eibar Town Hall is especially known for having been in its main balcony where was proclaimed for the first time the II Republic on 14 April 1931. It was inaugurated on 14 September 1901, and was later reopened in the year 2002 after extensive refurbishment.
